This is actually my dad on his birthday. He's a Christmas Eve baby!
I love this picture. I don't know why it speaks to me more so than the others.
It's hard to believe that he is now 60+ years old, been in a nursing facility for over
5 years now, and has Alzheimers that laid itself over a severe head trauma.
He can't speak anymore and doesn't have much control over his movements.
He likes something about me. He is always trying to reach for my face or my hair.
Sigh.
