These are a few photos I found in my grandparents' collection. My granddaddy was in World War II. He visited Japan right after the bomb was dropped and spent a good deal of time in the Phillipines. There are some light pencil Japanese characters on the back. Unfortunately, I can't read Japanese. I am also guessing that most of these pics were taken in Japan. Granddaddy told me they were taken there but he also has Alzheimers so I'm not positive he remembers correctly. I just thought they were interesting.... Please do not copy and take them to another site. Thanks!
My scanning abilities leave something to be desired. LOL
If I'm not mistaken, the very last picture on the bottom right is part of Japan after the bomb. Maybe the outside part?
