The First Deer of the Season!

Today was the first day of muzzleloader season for whitetails. If the rest of the season goes like today, we should have enough venison for the winter and summer. We have it ground so it can be used in so many different dishes. It's much cheaper than ground beef and it keeps my husband happy!

This two point deer didn't look like a regular whitetail. It had strange white markings, a hump in the nose and the back. The husband thought that maybe it would have been an albino if left out in the wild.
